Magherafelt UFU evening with Jenny Bristow in aid of Charis

The Ulster Farmers Union in Magherafelt have organised an evening in Maghera in aid of Charis Cancer Care, in conjunction with the Patron of Charis, Jenny Bristow.

This evening on the 10th December will be themed around local people and local produce, and all proceeds of the evening will go to Charis. Jenny will be cooking up some mouth-watering local produce, and giving tips on how to do it just in time for Christmas.

The evening will also feature a fashion show, with the chance to view the latest local fashion. In the interval light refershments will be served, and there will be a chance to buy Jenny’s new book.

At the end of the night there will be prizes donated by local businesses, including hampers, vouchers, and food for Christmas.

Jenny said: “I think this will be a great opportunity for both men and women in the Mid-Ulster area to have a good night out and have some fun, while picking up tips for Christmas.

“The evening is open for people of all age groups to attend, I’m looking forward to a great evening and helping a cause that is very close to my heart at the same time “

The evening will be held in the Curragh Hall, 43 Crewe Road, Maghera, on Wednesday 10th December 2014 at 7.30pm.The cost to attend is only £10, and tickets are limited, so contact the UFU office on 028 7963 2127 to book your ticket today.
