Magical evening of theatre under the stars

JANE Austen fans stepped back in time at Mossley Mill on Thursday evening, (July 22), as they enjoyed a summer picnic with the dashing Mr Darcy.

An audience of 500 people who hailed from Newtownabbey and beyond, re-lived the drama and romance of the Austen classic ‘Pride and Prejudice’ when it was performed outdoors in the Civic Square at Mossley Mill, in front of the borough’s new Theatre at the Mill.

The event was the first outdoor theatre performance at the Theatre at The Mill and it was a sell-out success.
