Magificient seven step out with band
SEVEN children, all pupils of Upper Ballyboley Primary School, have already been out marching with Ballyboley Pipe Band, despite having only joined in January.
Normally, it takes around two years before learners would be out on parade so the seven - Abigail Coyle, Roy McAnally, Kerri Davy, Dylan Coyle, Sarah-Jane McBurney, Alannah McAnally and Ross McCullough - are well ahead of schedule and have done exceptionally well.
They walked their first steps with the band at the recent Orange parade in Ballyeaston and again at Ballynure.
It was a proud moment for the children, their parents, and their teachers at the band. Mrs Ferguson, their principal from school, also showed up to support them.
