Maintenance works to be carried out
N.I. Water have agreed to bring forward scheduled maintenance works on Fair Hill in Cushendall from 2014 to this month after a request from Glens Sinn Fein Councillor Margaret Anne Mc Killop.
Councillor McKillop said: “I have contacted N.I. Water on a number of occasions expressing concerns about the frequency of burst pipe incidents on Fair Hill. To continue with their sticking plaster approach for another year would have put an unnecessary drain on public funds.”
