Magherafelt will be the third town in Mid Ulster to benefit from public realm investment.

Councillor Linda Dillon, Chair of the Council, welcomed the work getting underway:

“The beginning of this work is a milestone for Magherafelt and I’m very pleased that the town is going to benefit from this level of investment which is intended to enhance the look and feel of the town centre, and in turn, its appeal as a shopping destination.

“As always, we remain committed to maintaining access to the town centre at all times, and to continuing to work with our businesses and residents to ensure the works go smoothly and are completed by the end of the year”.
