The carriageway and hard shoulder resurfacing scheme on the A6 Glenshane Road will take place between the Hillhead Road and the Ballynahone Road. It is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete.

To help minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public and local businesses two-way traffic flow will be maintained on the Glenshane Road during this period.

However to facilitate the final surfacing it will be necessary to restrict access onto the Glenshane Road from the adjacent side roads at Hillhead Road, Derganagh Road and Ballynahone Road over a period of five days.

Signage advising of the timing of the side road closures will be erected in advance of the closures. Signed diversion routes will also be in operation during the period of the closures.
