Make a giant splash and sign up for Action Cancer's Giant's Walk!

ACTION Cancer's Giant's Walk will take place on Saturday, September 4.

Now in its eighth year, the Giant’s Walk follows the stunning Causeway coastal path from the Giant’s Causeway to Carrick-a-Rede rope-bridge.

The route is just over 10 miles and passes along sandy beaches, rocky bays, sheer cliff drops and small fishing villages.

The walk will start at 10am with registration open from 9am.

There will be free car parking facilities at Carrick-a-rede rope bridge (Quarry Car Park) and a bus will take walkers from there to the beginning of the route at The Giants Causeway.

Event organiser, Amanda Steele, said: ‘This is a brilliant opportunity to get involved and help out a local cancer charity.

“Not only will you pass by some of Northern Ireland’s most stunning scenery, but you’ll be getting fit and healthy at the same time. Last years event raised well over 10,000 and we hope 2010 will be even better.”
