Young people can be the hidden victims of domestic violence and are significantly at risk of school drop-out, exclusion and risk-taking behaviours.

Ruth Owen, fundraising co-ordinator with Women’s Aid Antrim, Ballymena, Carrick, Larne and Newtownabbey (ABCLN) paid tribute to all those who made the appeal such a success so far.

“We can now reveal we have raised an astonishing £9,381.25 and we will continue to fundraise for the Make it Better Appeal all year.
