Making a difference to lives in Ballysally

Partners from the BINP were joined by Holywell Consultancy, local dignitaries and representatives from local groups and agencies for the launch of the comprehensive report into the work of the programme over the last years.

The BINP is a dynamic local collaboration working within the Ballysally Neighbourhood Renewal area and delivering an effective nurturing service for families and individuals of all ages, with a cradle to grave approach of supportive developmental work.

The partners are Focus on Family, Ballysally Primary School, Ballysally Presbyterian Church and Ballysally Nursery School and previously Coleraine SureStart Partnership.

BINP partners recently commissioned Holywell Consultancy to carry out an extensive evaluation of the work to date, focusing on the benefits to participants and to the wider community. The report findings were detailed and included a comprehensive evaluation of the Nurturing Programme to date, highlighting the benefits and impact on the Neighbourhood Renewal Area and future recommendations to inform ongoing nurturing delivery within the area. Holywell Consultancy, through the final report, gathered both quantifiable and measurable outcomes of the work to date, as well as capturing real-life stories of the impact of the work on the development of local families and the wider community.

The work of the BINP and the production of the research report are funded by Department for Social Development, administered by Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council and their ongoing support is greatly appreciated in making such a significant positive impact on local families.
