Male arrested after Drumard burglary

A male has been charged in relation to a creeper burglary which took place at the Drumard Grange area of Lisburn during the early hours of Easter Monday (March 28).

Police officers answered a call from a member of the public, who said that a car had crashed and that the driver appeared to be intoxicated.

When police arrived at the scene at around 7.15am, the male tried to make his escape.

He was subsequently arrested for Burglary and Aggravated Vehicle Taking, a number of traffic offences, as well as a drugs offence.
