Man (19) charged with murder of Jayne Toal Reat in Lisburn

Police have charged a 19-year-old man with murder following the death of a woman in Lisburn on Christmas Day.

Jayne Toal Reat, a 43-year-old nurse, died after an early morning incident at a house in the Mornington area of the city.

Police confirmed that the accused has also been charged with two counts of attempted murder, after a second woman and a man also sustained injuries during the same incident.

He is expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court tomorrow.
