Man accused of attempted murder
A YOUNG South Derry man is expected in court tomorrow charged with attempted murder arising out of Saturday’s stabbing incident in Magherafelt.
The 22-year-old also faces two charges of possessing an offensive weapon.
The charges arise out of the alleged incident at Rainey Street in which a 17-year-old youth was stabbed a number of times.
The accused will appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Monday.
