Ryan Mark Gerald Golligher (24), of no fixed abode, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on May 23 in connection with the offence which is alleged to have happened on November 23 last year.

The accused said he had no objection to the holding of a Preliminary Enquiry and a prosecutor said she believed there was a case to answer.

Defence solicitor John Murphy said he had no contrary submissions and Golligher said he did not wish to say anything at this stage.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Antrim Crown Court in June.
