Man accused of having 10-inch kitchen knife during 'domestic'
A MAN has appeared in court charged with having a 10-inch kitchen knife in his possession in what his legal representative described as a "domestic situation".
Igor Michalicka (27), with an address at Mull Park, Portglenone, is accused of being armed with an offensive weapon with intent to commit an arrestable offence, at Galgorm Court on April 13.
He is further charged on the same date with assaulting a woman, while he also faces a third charge of entering a house at Galgorm Court as a trespasser and stealing a mobile phone on April 12.
Michalicka’s case was adjourned until June 17, when he appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court.
