Man admits prawns theft
A BALLYMENA man will be sentenced next month for stealing a bag of prawns from a local supermarket.
Sentencing was adjourned at the local Magistrates Court until June 17 for the preparation of pre-sentence probation reports in the case of Sydney Russell (40), of Moat Road.
Russell admitted stealing the prawns on February 2 and also pleaded guilty to a further charge of stealing a bottle of Coke and two magazines from the same store on January 27.
