Man and woman badly shaken by Waterside hijackers

Police in Strand Road are appealing for information following the report of the attempted hijacking of two cars, a Honda Civic & a Peugeot 207 at approximately 5.40pm in the Glendermott Road area.

Neither driver sustained any injuries, however they were both left badly shaken.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed these incidents to contact them at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

For guidance the driver of the Honda Civic was a male and the dirver of the Peugeot 207 was a female.
