Richard Campbell had a made a number of reviews using both his own name and false profiles on Facebook over an 18 month period.

His first review in June 2013 seemed fairly average however over the next 18 months they became sinister. In December 2014 Richard Campbell made a number of posts that Bob & Berts felt had crossed the line.

After requesting Richard Campbell to remove the offending posts he then proceeded to post further malicious posts. Bob & Berts were left with no alternative but to appoint McManus Kearny in Belfast to take action against Richard Campbell for his libellous and defamatory comments.

Today Richard Campbell apologised to both Bob & Berts Coffee and it’s Managing Director for his libellous comments and agreed to pay his costs and the costs incurred by Bob & Berts in bringing the action. It is thought Richard Campbell faces a bill in excess of £10,000.

Bob & Berts currently employs 150 people across 10 stores and will open in Omagh in November with a further 5 stores planned for 2016.
