Man arrested after assault
A man and woman were assaulted outside a shop in Castle Street, Ballycastle, at the weekend.
Plice say that a report was received on Sunday at 25 past 9 in the evening that five to six youths had assaulted an elderly male person and a female.
Police managed to identiy one of the persons involved, a 20-year-old, and he was subsequently arrested.
A police spokesperson said that a report was being prepared and that it is expected the man arrested will appear in court.
