Man arrested after attempted break in

Police were tipped off about an attempted break in at the service station at 7.05pm on Wednesday, 5 February.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Officers attended and two males made off from the location.

“The police helicopter was tasked and a 19-year-old male was arrested a short time later.

“During their enquiries, police discovered that attempts had also been made to enter two cars in the area.”

The man was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
