Man arrested after knife and hammer attack
A man has been arrested for attempted murder after a stabbing incident in Abercorn Park, Portadown, yesterday (Wednesday) night.
A 34-year-old man was attacked with a knife and hammer and sustained injuries to his head and shoulder.
A PSNI spokesperson said police received a report of the incident at 11.53pm and were on the scene within one minute.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon and is helping police with their enquiries.
