Man arrested after three women report being assaulted in nightclub
A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault following an incident in the Antrim Road area of Newtownabbey at the weekend.
The incident is believed to have taken place in the nightclub at the Chimney Corner Hotel in the early hours of Sunday, January 24.
Three women, all understood to be from the Carrickfergus area, were injured during the incident.

Hide AdA PSNI spokesman said: “It was reported that three females had been assaulted in the area. The suspect was interviewed and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries. The investigation is continuing.”
