Man arrested by detectivesprobing violent republicans
A 40-year-old man in has been arrested in Londonderry by detectives investigating violent dissident republican activity.
The man was arrested in the city on Tuesday morning, August 9, and taken to Belfast by officers of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
A spokesperson for the PSNI stated: “Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating violent dissident republican terrorist activity in the Derry/Londonderry area have arrested a 40 year old man this morning.
“He has been taken to Musgrave police station for questioning.”
