Man arrested following discovery of suspected cannabis plants at Magherafelt house
Police have reported the discovery of a number of suspected cannabis plants during a house search in the Magherafelt area on Wednesday afternoon (September 7).
The PSNI said one man was arrested and is due to appear before court on suspicion of cultivating a Class B controlled drug and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
A police spokesperson said: “A 24-year-old man has been charged with cultivating cannabis and possession of a class B controlled drug.
“He is due to appear at Magherafelt Magistrates Court on Wednesday 28 September.
“As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.”
