Man arrested in eggs incident

A 21-year-old man was arrested in Dervock on Monday of last week in an incident in which it was alleged that eggs were thrown at a car.

The man was released on bail.

Meanwhile, police in Ballymoney are investigating a burglary that occurred between 6 p.m. on Monday of last week and 8 p.m. the following day at an outhouse on the Mullan Road.

Several items were stolen including a socket set, electric drill and a tool box.

Anyone offered these items in suspicious circumstances should contact police.

Police are also investigating the theft of a purse from an office at business premises on the Ballymena Road in Ballymoney sometime between 12.30 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday last.

The purse belonged to the manager who had put it into her handbag.
