Man arrested over death of 36-year-old woman in Co Derry
A man has been arrested after the death of a woman at a house in Co Derry.
Police were called to a house on the Glenshane Road of Claudy in the early hours of Saturday morning.
At this stage the 36-year-old woman’s death is unexplained, said Detective Chief Inspector Michael Harvey who also said it was being treated as suspicious.
A post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death.
Police appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
The man arrested is 62-year-old.
