Man arrested under terrorism act released unconditionally
A 45-year-old man arrested in the Cookstown area under the Terrorism Act by detectives from PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit on Friday (December 21) has been released unconditionally.
The arrest was made following the search of a house in the area.
People arrested under The Terrorism Act must be charged, released pending report to the Public Prosecution Service or released unconditionally – bail is not permitted under this legislation.
