Man assaulted

The attack on the 21 year old male is understood to have occurred on Thursday May 30 but wasn’t reported to police until yesterday afternoon, Monday June 3.

The victim was walking by the wooded area opposite Dairy Farm at around 10pm when he was set upon by a number of males aged around 16 or 17.

He sustained cuts and bruises to his face and it’s believed he may have been knocked unconscious for a time.
