As a result of the assault he sustained a broken jaw and cuts and bruises to his body.

It is believed the males involved left the scene in a blue coloured car.

Police, who issued an appeal at the time of the incident, are still keen to speak again to a dark-haired woman who spoke to them briefly at the scene.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault.
