Man assaulted in Clarence Street

Police have made a fresh appeal for information after a suspected assault on a man in the Clarence Street area of Ballymena at around 10:30pm on Saturday, October 19.

The man was treated in hospital for injuries following the incident, although the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police would like to speak to a man thought to be involved, described as 6 foot in height, with dark fair hair.

He was said to be wearing a dark zip up jacket and jeans at the time of the incident.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have saw what happened and can be contacted on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
