Man attacked paramedic

POLICE in Londonderry are appealing for information following an assault on a paramedic in the Bank Place area.

At approximately 12.50am on Sunday morning, 18 September, paramedics were tending to a male person when he struck out at one of them.

The man then chased after the paramedic for a short distance before falling over.

A 25 year old man was arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
