Man bottled nearCraigavon Bridge

A man was hit over the head with a bottle before having his wallet stolen at Tillie’s Brae on Saturday night.

The incident occurred close to the Fountain on Saturday night.

Detective Inspector David McQuade said a 23-year-old man was walking near Tillie’s Brae at about 9.30pm when he was approached by two men, one of whom struck him on the head with a bottle.

During a struggle, the assailants stole the victim’s wallet before he managed to break free from them.
