Man charged after butcher's knife seized in Magherafelt
A man has been arrested in Magherafelt after the seizure of a large butcher's knife.
Police said they discovered the knife at the weekend.
“At the weekend, officers from B section Local Policing Team, Magherafelt, conducted a search,” the PSNI said on their Facebook page.
“A butchers style knife was recovered. One person was arrested and has been charged to court.
“Police are committed to removing these types of weapons from our community.”
