Man charged after Larne drugs bust

Police have arrested and charged a 56-year-old man with possession of drugs with intent to supply following a police operation in the harbour area of Larne on Monday, June 17.

The arrests and charges followed the discovery of class A drugs, believed to be cocaine, during the search of a van in the area.

The haul is believed to be worth around £30,000. The man appeared in Antrim Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 18 where he was remanded in custody.
