Man charged over alleged hit and run
A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been charged over an alleged hit-and-run incident in which four children were injured on the Blaris Road in Lisburn.
The charge relates to a road traffic accident on May 20 involving three cars. The drivers of two of the vehicles as well as four children travelling in one of the cars were injured, however none very seriously.
The 19-year-old has been charged with offences including causing grievous bodily injury through dangerous driving and failing to stop.
He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates court on September 9.
