Man charged over assault
THE PSNI in Carrickfergus has charged a 20-year-old man with disorderly behaviour and assault on police.
The charge follows an incident in the Taylor’s Avenue area of the town during the early hours of August 20.
The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on September 15.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
