Man charged over copper theft
POLICE have arrested and charged a 19-year-old male with burglary after copper radiator pipes were taken from a property on the Old Galgorm Road on Tuesday, May 14.
A police spokespersion said the man was arrested as police responded to a call from a member of the public reporting suspicious activity.
The man was released on bail and will appear at Ballymena Magistrates Court on June 6.
As is normal procedure the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
