Man charged with McKeown manslaughter

POLICE have charged a 26 year old man in connection with the death of Ballymena man Owen McKeown in Kilrea last weekend.

The man has been charged with manslaughter, possession of a class C drug and possession of a class C drug with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at North Antrim Magistrates Court on Friday morning.

The charges relate to the death of Mr McKeown on May 5.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
