Frankie Kennedy of Castle Rise, Tandragee admitted the offence at a previous court.

The case had been adjourned for a short sentence report to see if he was suitable for community service.

The report confirmed he was suitable and Kennedy agreed to do community service.

The previous court heard that on September 13 that at 9.45am at Queen Street, Portadown, the defendant was seen acting aggressively towards passing motorists.

Police saw him sitting at the side of the road accompanied by a female. Kennedy was under the influence of alcohol and struggled to get to his feet.

He started shouting loudly at police and said he was going to fight them. He clenched his fists and tried to pull away from the female who was pregnant.

Kennedy was arrested and during the journey to the police station he continued to be aggressive.
