Man critical after road accident
Police are appealing for witnesses to a road accident in Moira which has left a 34-year-old man critically ill.
He was hit by a car on the Glenavy Road close to the railway halt around 2:40am on Saturday.
Police said his injuries are believed to be “extremely serious” and it is understood he remains in a critical condition in hospital.
They have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
