Man criticial after Newbuildings traffic accident

At around 5:55am, it was reported that a blue Lexus IS200 went off the road in the area. One male believed to be in his teens has been taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries. His condition is described as critical.

Two females in their twenties, who were in the car at the time of the incident are being treated for their injuries. One female has been taken to hospital for injuries that are described as serious. The other female has also been taken to hospital and her condition is also described as serious.

Diversions are in place at the Victoria Road at the junction with the Duncastle Road, the junction with the Clampernon Road and the junction with the Woodend Road. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to seek alternative main routes for their journey.
