Man dies at Dunmurry Halt

A man died after he was hit by a train in Dunmurry on Monday afternoon of last week.

He was hit by the Belfast to Dublin Enterprise train at Dunmurry Halt on the Lisburn line at about 2.45pm.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the rail track was closed for a time.

Police began an investigation. A PSNI spokesperson said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
