Man drove away from the police

A DONAGHACLONEY man was fined £200 at Craigavon court last Thursday for driving without due care and attention on February 4.

David Bingham (21), of Baird Avenue, Donaghacloney, also received four penalty points and was fined 60 for having a defective rear indicator.

The court heard a police mobile patrol at Central Way, Craigavon, signalled him to stop.

He stopped and then drove off at speed before stopping a short distance away.

A solicitor for the defendant said he has had his motorbike licence for three years. This was stupidity on his part.
