Man due in court on attempted murder charge
A man arrested in Portadown yesterday is due to appear in court in Londonderry today (Monday) charged with attempted murder and possession of explosives with intent to endanger life.
The charges relate to the attempted murder of police officers at Eglinton on Thursday, June 18, 2015.
The 35-year-old was arrested by detectives from PSNI Serious Crime Branch.
As is normal procedure, the charges are reviewed by the PPS.
