Man faces trial
A CLAUDY man is to stand trial at the city's crown court for driving whilst disqualified.
Brendan Gerard O'Neill, of Glenshane Road in the village, is also charged with taking a car without consent on May 24, last.
During a brief hearing on Thursday, the 31-year-old declined to say anything in answer to the charges.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott accepted there was a prima facie case to answer.
O'Neill was released on continuing bail and will appear in court again for arraignment on October 13.
