Man fined £120 for drug possession
A 21-year-old man was fined £120 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for possession of cannabis on June 18 this year.
Marvin Da Silva, Hanover Street, Portadown, was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that when police searched an address at Garvaghy Park in Portadown they found a small amount of cannabis which Da Silva admitted belonged to him.
Mr Gabriel Ingram, representing the defendant, said his client only had a caution on his record and was very candid when spoken to by police.
