Man had cannabis
A 22-year-old man was fined £500 last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court for unlawful possession of cannabis on August 20 last year.
Andrew Quinn, Richmount Heights, Banbridge, was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that Quinn, who did not appear at court, was seen acting suspiciously at Havelock Park in Banbridge on August 28.
When police went to search him he voluntarily handed over a small quantity of cannabis which he said was for his own personal use.
