Man had to be cut from car by firefighters after county Tyrone crash

It is understood he suffered pelvis and leg injuries in the one car collision on Sunday, while the woman he was with hurt her lower legs but was able to get out of the vehicle herself.

Both were taken to hospital in an ambulance for treatment.

A spokesperson for Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 10.51pm to a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision at the Drumgrannon Road area of Moy on Sunday 13th September.

“One Fire Appliance from Armagh & Dungannon Fire Stations were deployed to the scene. Firefighters using hydraulic cutting equipment rescued one man from the vehicle, who suffered injuries to his leg and pelvis during the incident.

One female, who was out of the vehicle upon arrival of Fire Crews received lower leg injuries.

“Both were taken to a nearby hospital by personnel from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service for treatment to their injuries.

“The incident finished at 11.34pm.”
