Man helping police with shooting enquiries

DETECTIVES in Londonderry have arrested a 32 year old man on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with criminal intent.

The arrest follows a shooting incident in the Creggan Road area on Sunday, November 20 when a 22 year old man sustained a number of gunshot wounds to both legs.

The man is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.
