Man in 50s '˜left shaken' after shots fired through window of his Cookstown home

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place in the Stewart Avenue area of Cookstown.

At around 11.15pm it was reported that a shot had been fired through the window of a house.

A man, aged in his 50s, who was in the house at the time was not injured but left shaken by his ordeal.

Detective Inspector Will Tate is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Cookstown on 101.
