Man in hospital after Sunday night attack in Moy

A man is in hospital with head injuries after he was attacked and knocked to the ground in Moy.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of the serious assault that occurred on Main Street of the village.

Constable McDonald said : “It was at approximately 2:15 am on Sunday 6th November, a male was seriously assaulted and knocked to the ground on Main Street in the Moy area. The male victim is currently in hospital with head injuries.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or to anyone who may have information that could assist with enquiries to contact Dungannon Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 170 on 6/11/16.

“Or alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”.
